Geographic Location
The UNICEN is placed in the central area of the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina Republic and it has three regional sites: Tandil, Olavarría and Azul.
Tandil is seat of the Rectorship, and the Faculties of Art, Human Sciences, Economic Sciences, Veterinary Sciences and Exact Sciences. Tandil is 380 km from Capital Federal, 170 km. from Mar del Plata and 330 km from Bahía Blanca.
Olavarría, site of the Faculties of Engineering, Social Sciences and the Superior School of Health Sciences, is on the National Route 226, 40 km from National Route 3. As in the case of Tandil, with a population that exceeds 100.000 inhabitants. It is a medium sized city.
Azul, site of Agronomy Faculty and the Faculty of Law, is situated at 297 km from Capital Federal and it is communicated with all the country through the National Routes 226 and 3.
The main feature of this region is the utilization of its many natural resources, hand in hand with the development of a variety of industrial and commercial activities and services.
Since 1996 the town of Quequén-Necochea is the setting place of the University Teaching Unit.
